How to find the necessary training:
Login in to your AYSO Account. On the volunteer tab will be a list of certifications (trainings) that are required.
First select the box next to risk status, then click “Renew & Update” at the bottom right.
This will prompt another screen that you will need to verify some information and then submit.
This will prompt an email that may go to your spam folder.
Follow all the prompts in the email, when it comes time to pay select to have the Region pay for it.
Back on the volunteer tab, straight out from you name will be an “AYSOU” button. Click this and it will take you to our training website where you can take all the online training.
Once at AYSOU, click the Training Library tab on the left.
Under the Safe Haven Course Category you will need to enroll in and complete the following courses:
AYSO’s Safe Haven 2022
CDC Concussion Awareness – Online
Sudden Cardiac Arrest – Online
Access your Safe Sport Course here.
This one will take you to another website to complete and crosses over will several sports.
Under the Coaching Course Category you will need to take the appropriate age division that you will be working with online course.
None of these trainings take too long except the Safe Sport which takes 90 minutes. Also none have an expiration date except for Safe Sport.
